Determine the resident (County.) applying for the license.
Applications for a CCII license must he completed in their county of residence.
A valid driver's license or non-driver's identification card.
No one may apply for, or receive, a Kansas CCH license without first obtaining one. A copy of the DL or identification will be sent along with application.
CHECKLIST:
Applicants for a CCH /license must:
- Complete and submit the CCH license application.
- Present a passport-type photo (approx. 2"x2")
- An unobstructed view of the head and shoulders taken within the past 30 days. (No item other than transparent eye glasses) may be worn in the photo that obscures a "full frontal view"
- Must he an actual likeness of the applicant
- Affix to the application form by a single staple in the location set aside for the applicant's photo.
- If the photo does not comply with the requirements as stated you are advised not to complete the process.
- Present approved training documentation.
- A certificate of training in a form approved by the Attorney General or an affidavit from a certified instructor is to be submitted with the application.
- Should be affixed to the application form by a single staple.
- Present a cashier's check or money order for $40.00 payable to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
- Deposit into the Special Law-Enforcement 'Trust Fund. Give to Jeff:
- General's Office. Present a cashier's check or money order for $110.00 payable to the Attorney
- Affix to the application by a single staple.
- Submit to fingerprinting
- The applicant will be fingerprinted on Livescan using the NFUF form.
- The Attorney General's ORI and the applicant's Kansas driver's license number or a Kansas nondriver's identification number should be entered in the spaces provided.
- A set of prints will be copied off on the AG's applicant card (provided)
- Affix to the application with a single staple.
